So, you have a health problem. Not a BIG health problem, but something niggling at you nonetheless. Whether it’s dreading your monthly period because it’s heavy and painful, feeling lower in mood than usual or getting particularly emotional and irritable – especially towards your poor suffering partner! Or, perhaps your immune system seems low and you catch every cold going. Or, you just can’t seem to shake off that constant nagging back pain.
Whatever the issue, you just don’t feel right.
So you embark on this journey of self-discovery. Friends have told you all the wonderful benefits of yoga, chanting and ‘oh you must go and see this osteopath guy I know, he’s wonderful’. You take up lessons in meditation, you begin to change your diet and consider the benefits of coffee enemas (but for some reason, never quite get around to it!). Your bathroom cabinet is overflowing with Epsom salts, herbal tinctures, supplements and new body creams.
You even ask your Doctor for help and advice and realise that 10 minutes in a Doctor’s surgery just isn’t enough time to talk about all those niggly little issues. The Doctor mentions drugs like anti-depressants, the contraceptive pill and painkillers and maybe you give them a go for a while, but you’re not enjoying all the side-effects and can’t see a huge improvement.
You wonder if all these efforts are just a big massive waste of time. Perhaps I’m meant to be this way; maybe it’s just in my genes? Or, maybe these drugs will eventually kick in and I’ll start to feel better?
But what if you’re not getting better? What then?!
The reason these attempts to get better might not be working, is because they are not treating the root cause of your health problem and are not individualised to your needs. There is no doubt that yoga, herbs and meditation are of great benefit to your health and have done wonders for so many people. But, if you’re not sure what is exactly it is that your body needs, a flurry of activities and taking multiple supplements can become overwhelming and difficult to maintain.
The drawback with the ‘one solution fits all’ is that everyone is unique. You may need more assistance in determining why your symptoms are the way they are and which organs might not be functioning at their peak. So, despite your best intentions the treatments you have tried are not actively supporting and detoxing your body in relation to what your body actually needs.
Why homeopathy is different.
Imagine feeling more in control of your body and emotions and it being natural and easy. Thankfully, this is a possibility!
By using natural homeopathic remedies you can stimulate a healing response and restore balance back to your body and mind. The best news is that homeopathic remedies don’t mask or suppress your symptoms and focus on treating the cause as well as supporting and detoxing the body.
Homeopathy is actually quite a simple process for you, the patient. You tell the practitioner your health issues, your worries, concerns, your food cravings and more, then the homeopath does the work. They will individually match remedies to your specific symptoms and address the cause wherever possible.
Why work with me?
Hi, I’m Claire Zarb, a fully qualified homeopath based in South West London and also via Skype. I trained with The College of Practical Homeopathy in North London, considered one of the most progressive homeopathic colleges in Europe. I hold a Licentiate Diploma in Homeopathy and also have training in herbs, flower essences and nutrition.
Before trying homeopathy I was like you, I felt stuck and fed up with my health. For example, I tried almost everything conventional to balance my hormones and clear my acne-prone skin. I had regular facials, used special creams, took antibiotics, Roaccuntane and the Pill. Whenever I stopped any medication, all my symptoms came back. It was really by chance that I tried homeopathy.
It not only cleared my acne for good, but it also helped regulate my erratic periods and alleviate my symptoms of IBS. Best of all, my mood was more stable and I felt happier and more positive. In fact I was so impressed with the results that I quit my job in Sales Management to train as a Homeopath! Now I help others feel happier and healthier with homeopathy.
So, what next?
